    OVERVIEW: <\/strong>\nLibraries are the hub of the community and opens up a whole new world of knowledge to our citizens. Inxuba Yethemba Municipality manages 6 libraries within the two towns of Cradock (4) & Middelburg (2).\n\nSERVICES FUNCTIONS:<\/strong>\n\n. Managing and Operating the budget on Libraries\n. Maintenance of the Libraries\n. Issuing of Books and Library material\n. Ensure the execution of Council\u2019s Policy on Facilities\n. Ensure access to information and knowledge\n. Client services and communication with the users and public\n.     \nOVERVIEW:<\/strong>\nThe IYM Environmental Development is responsible for the development and sustainability of all the municipalities\u2019 environmental assets and infrastructure within the IYM area. It also strives to create new environmental sites, create awareness campaigns to changes the mentality of communities towards environmental health and contributes to the overall wellbeing of the environment.\nCurrently, this department is responsible for managing 7 cemeteries, 4 Sports Facilities and 2 parks as well as other various environmental sites.\n\nKEY FUNCTIONS:<\/strong>\n\n.     OVERVIEW:<\/strong>\nThe Community Work Programme (CWP) is an innovative offering from government to provide a job safety net for unemployed people of working age. The CWP is also a great opportunity for unemployed youth who are actively looking for employment opportunities. The programme provides participants with much needed extra cash to make you effective in your search for full-time or part-time employment. Programme participants do community work.
